Journalist, Human Rights Defender, and Civil Society Leader
Moussa Tchangari is a distinguished journalist and human rights advocate with over 20 years of experience in journalism and civil society activism. He serves as the General Secretary of Alternative Espaces Citoyens (AEC), a leading organization championing human rights and democracy in Niger and across West Africa.
A committed advocate for peace, democracy, and freedom from neo-colonial influence, Moussa is renowned for his efforts to defend citizens' rights in the Sahel and West Africa. His work extends into academia, where he teaches a course on human rights at the Niamey Police Academy.
Moussa is also a member of the International Governing Council of the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD-West Africa) and a frequent participant in regional and international dialogues on democratic governance and humanitarian action.
