John Ejoha Odah is the Executive Secretary of the Organisation of Trade Unions of West Africa (OTUWA) and a prominent advocate for workers' rights across the region. A seasoned leader in Nigeria's labor movement, he previously served as the General Secretary of NLC Pty Ltd, where he played a pivotal role in shaping policies that advanced the welfare and rights of workers.

Hailing from Benue State, John's journey as a social justice advocate began during his days as a student activist at the University of Jos. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Sociology, with a specialization in Political Sociology.

John's career is marked by his commitment to empowering workers through education and advocacy. As an officer in the Education Department of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) during Dr. Taiwo’s tenure, he championed innovative programs that enriched the skills and awareness of workers, fostering a legacy of continuous learning and active participation in the labor movement.

A respected voice in West Africa’s trade union community, John Odah remains a steadfast advocate for justice, equity, and the transformative power of organized labor.
