Dayo Olaide is an international development professional with significant experience in
project design, grant making, fundraising, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and strategy
development. He is the segment lead for International Foundations at World Vision Canada.
He has led proposal writing, fundraising, and grant-making across diverse themes - girls'
secondary education, gender-based violence, gender and social inclusion, maternal health,
community engagement, natural resource governance, elections, transparency, participation,
and accountability. He has experience collaborating with government, civil society, the
private sector, academia, and media.
He trains, mentors, and advises non-profit leaders and board members in proposal design,
advocacy, and fundraising, as a consultant, board advisor, and volunteer board member.
He holds an MA in Development Studies and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from
Olabisi Onabanjo University
