Valeria Ogide is a journalist, fact-checker, social media manager, and media relations officer at the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD-West Africa).

She conducts in-depth research on Nigeria’s political landscape, monitors disinformation, and produces weekly analyses on emerging trends. Additionally, she fosters media partnerships, coordinates press coverage, and ensures accurate reporting on democratic and governance issues.

Driven by her passion for social justice, gender equality, and women’s rights, Valeria leverages creative writing to bring underrepresented voices to the forefront. A graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, she remains dedicated to shaping informed public discourse and advocating for social justice, with a special focus on women.
