Sa’eed Husaini is a researcher and consultant and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Lagos.
His interests span political economy, particularly of democratisation, institutional reform, and the roles and impacts of political ideas. His consulting work has focused on elections, institutional change, governance, and security in Nigeria and the West African sub-region. From 2018 - 2020, he worked as lead analyst for Nigeria at Control Risks, and was Head of Research at the CDD from 2020 - 2022.
He obtained his PhD in International Development and an MA in African Studies from the University of Oxford and his BA in Political Science from Hope College, Michigan, USA.
